Im thinking about getting turntables to use Serato scratch on. ANY SUGGESTIONS??

I have never had turntables before so I%26#39;m not sure what to look for. I am using serato so does it really matter how good they are? I was thinking Gemini tables. Also are they%26#39;re any other DJ programs like serato out there?

Answer:

serato is the best. you can use the serato or regular vinyl with flip of switch in case your pc/laptop/mac crashes. i love serato and i hve spinning on the 1s and 2s for over 10 years. transporting 30 crates to a party to make some money is always a challenge. get an external harddrive and think of all the time/effort saved in not having to lug crates. all the big dj%26#39;s use serato now mainly for using it to load music. we still use the turntables to do our tricks on buddy. don%26#39;t get it twisted. besides, records are more manageable for doing tricks on. i can get you the new Technic 1210m5g grandmaster turntables for $600. and serato for $500. holla at cha boy. there are plenty of serato video tutorials on youtube as well. only real dj%26#39;s experienced in transporting records crates can give you a good answer. go with serato, not traktor or final scratch. they suck.
