If i uninstall itunes and install it again will all my songs be erased?

the itunes software on my computer wont load because of an audio configuration problem(i dont know how to fix it.) if i uninstall the software then install it again...then plug my ipod into my computer with all my previous songs on it..will the songs be erased?

Answer:

the songs on itunes will NOT be erased, neither will the songs on your iPod. i had the SAME exact problem. No,because songs on the ipod will be transfered to itunes. I suggest you to backup your music safely inside a folder before you uninstall itunes. Even though they are unlikely to vanish. After you back it up go ahead to uninstall and reinstall it... I%26#39;m not sure if that will actually help though since i%26#39;m not an iTunes user. Anyways, if your library is empty and you have songs on your iPod it will not be erased unless you "SYNC" your library onto your player. No, your music would be stored on your computer, probably in My Music under My Documents. Music is stored in the program itself.
