You do need WMP. You don%26#39;t need QuickTime. You also need Internet Explorer (if you listen through the browser player at music.yahoo.com), or Yahoo Messenger (if you listen through Messenger), or Yahoo Music Jukebox and Windows XP or Vista (if you listen through YMJ).

If you are trying to listen through a browser other than IE, don%26#39;t. Launchcast doesn%26#39;t work with Firefox, Netscape, Safari, etc. When was the last time you updated them? Yahoo and most other sites tend to use the latest updated versions of everything and unfortunately there is not much compatability between new media and older versions of the media players. Go to their homepages and download the latest or click the link yahoo gives you and go that way.
