But am not sure whether to use an FM transmitter device or the device which connects through your car cassette player. Which is better for sound quality? (Or is there an alternative?)...I want to charge my iPOD at the same time too!
Answer:
I don%26#39;t know one that will play in your car and charge it, but my friend works at Best Buy and he says that the cassette player is better for sound quality, and there is also a car charger you can buy that will plug into your cigarette lighter. I haven%26#39;t tried the FM transmitter, but the casette one works really well! I have an actual IPod charger/car connector. It plugs into the lighter and then you stick your IPod in it. It plays the IPod through the car speakers and charges it at the same time. It was a bit pricey but it was totally worth it. If I hadn%26#39;t spent the money on it my IPod would be dead all the time. Plus the sound quality of mine is great. You should be able to get it wherever you bought your IPod. If you have a Best Buy or an Apple store nearby they%26#39;ll definitely have it. Good luck. The best way I know of is the FM transmitter. I wouldn%26#39;t use the tape player. What I would do is call the apple store and ask them they can tell you for sure. But I would use the FM transmitter. I like other people have Ipod charger/car connector. It charges the battery and plays on the car at the same time. You plug it in the lighter and hook it up to your ipod.It is extremely clear. You can get one at any electronic store like Best Buy. u basically want the fm transmitter, it ranges from $60.00 to $100.00 at best buy. You can actually find similar products on ebay for 20.00 if u have an ebay account or have friend that has an account. It works just as well and u can save some money. Make sure u buy one that has an fm transmitter where u can change the station manually to find a clear station. Those works best. If you want to change your car its easy, I just bought a new car and it comes with an aux outlet that you can plug your ipod into. The type of ipod you have doesn%26#39;t make a difference when playing it in your car. I prefer the casette version, it has much better sound quality
