when I%26#39;m on the main menu and I click on the Music and it says disk error, along with all the other options except fm radio...

Answer:

You may have a corrupt file on the disk and need to get it off by formatting.

To format = Plug in your mp3* Go to start* Go to my computer* Right click you mp3 and choose format*

I have an iriver U10 and normally i am extremely good at these things, but i cant firgure this one o

how do you get music videos onto the thing, and sometimes when i delete songs...the song name still stays on the screen. can you change that? but mostly i need to know the whole music video thing THNX

Answer:

Hi,

In order to get music videos on your iriver U10, you need to have them converted to the proper format that iriver U10 would support. To do that you can download "Iriverter", it%26#39;s a free software, which was made by iriver, which allows you to convert videos. You can download the software from here:

http://iriverter.sourceforge.net/downloa...

It%26#39;s relatively easy to use, just make sure that before converting your videos on iriverter, you go to the options-device-iriver and than clix/u10, because otherwise you might get wrong format.

Iriverter is safe, no viruses there, i currently use it, they even talk about it on iriver america website.

When you converted your videos you can either manually add them to your iriver videos folder on your computer or sync them through windows media player 10 or 11. Version before 10 won%26#39;t work.

I%26#39;m not sure about why the names of the songs stay on the screen after deletion, i usually delete songs by going onto my hard drive than my iriver folder than music, and it works fine for me.

Alright i hope i helped you.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I have an mp3 and I need to add songs to it. How do I do it? I have iTunes and I dont want to change

Is it possible?

Answer:

iTunes will only put music on an iPod, sorry, but you will have to change. iTunes was desgined especially for the iPod, so either change your MP3 Player, or the MP3 program.

Change to either the software that comes with the player, or some universal one. unless you have an ipod then most of the songs off of itunes will not work for your mpe player your have to buy the itunes plus songs that cost 1.29 each intead of .99 each then the expensive somgs will play on any mp3 playr cuz they are drm-free Depends on the kind of mp3 (the brand). Its possible that you can use Windows Media Player and after you plug in your player, and your Media Player is showing all songs, just click sync. I don%26#39;t think iTunes works for any mp3 player thats not an iPod. Let me know what kind of mp3 player you have. yea it is possible, i have done it hundred times. ok 1st step make sure the songs u want in ur itune, r in .mp3 format. to change the format, goto edit, preferences, and go to importing. change to importing format to mp3 encoder. then go to ur songs

and left click on the highlighted songs and click on convert selections to mp3. then plug in ur mp3, open the mp3file on my computer. drag and drop songs from ur itune to the mp3 folder. good luck :) YES IT IS POSSIBLE but it cost more if you already purchase songs from iTunes. iTunes recently launched the DRM free songs but they cost more like $1.29. DRM free basically means the song can go on any mp3. The only problem is the catalog is not as big as the original iTunes and only certain songs are available due to greedy record companies and "musicians" but other then that it can be used and since you already have iTunes and if you had already brought songs off of iTunes then there is a cool featured that will allow you to upgrade your songs to the DRM free format. If you have any more questions just click on the link label iTunes plus on the right side of itunes. You can%26#39;t use iTunes for an mp3. Only the iPod supports the .m4p iTunes format. If you want to use iTunes you%26#39;ll have to do what the other answerer said and pay $1.29 for the DRM free music. (And most of the iTunes music isn%26#39;t available in the DRM free format yet).

i have lost the disc and dont know how to do it otherwise can you help plz

Answer:

When you plug it into your computer, your pc sees the Mp3 player like another disk drive. To this end, you simply need to open up My Computer then whichever it identifies your Mp3 player as and drag and drop or copy and paste as necessary. plug it into the usb, click on the icon, drag n drop 1. buy a driver for it

or

2. get a ipod cheapoooo

or

3.do what that guy said This is what i do.Plug your mp3 player into usb port.Look in my computer to find your player,it could be e drive. Now locate your mp3 files, right click on file, look for send to in drop down list. Now send your file to the drive allocated to your mp3 player. You will then see the file transfering across to your player. I have an mp3 player and I have no idea how to charge it?

I have an mp3 player and the batterie%26#39;s died but I don%26#39;t know how to charge it. It has no battery place and no charger. The directions don%26#39;t say anything about it either. It came with a cable, a disc that converts files, and earphones. That%26#39;s it.

Answer:

All you have to do is plug in the cable to the computer and mp3 player. plug it in it should charge automaticly on your computer what type of mp3 player is it? Ok, well the first question would obviously be: What type of MP3 player do you have? Some players have an internal battery that can only be charged via a USB cable to the computer, or an external charger - and once the battery dies, you must send it back to the manufacturer to replace the battery (for example an iPod). Others just require normal batteries that do not recharge when plugged in (for example SanDisk Flash Players).

I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll get a lot more direction from us if you could provide us with the make and model of your MP3 player. :) ok all u need to do is plug it in to the computer as if u were going to downlaod song-hope this works Try the USB port.

I have an mp3 player and my problem is my mp3 shuts off for every 5min wat should i do?

Answer:

You don%26#39;t say what brand or model it is. A lot of the cheaper ones have problems. Trash it and buy a new one based on online reviews. See if you can get a firmware update. Get an Ipod or a Zune. Whatever suits you the most. is it still under warranty? if it is, return it to the store where you brought it and get a new one. If the warrant is expired, give the manufacturer a call and see if they can assist with the problem (i.e. telling you why it happens, how to get it fixed, how much, etc.)

what%26#39;s the brand and model of the MP3 player? im sorry but it sounds like ****. just throw it away and get a new one or an ipod or something.

HOPE THIS HELPED UNLIKE THE OTHER ANSWERS YOU GOT WHAT PROGRAM ARE YOU USING TO DOWNLOAD MUSIC WITH,ARE YOU USING WINDOW MEDIA PLAYER ,JUKBOX??? the Sansa has two modes wherein it may connect to the computer, the MSC (Mass Storage Class) mode and the MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) mode. If you are transferring un-licensed, non-protected songs, you may transfer them using the MSC mode by simply copying them on to the Sansa. This mode also allows you to use the player with Audible files. If you are transferring music that you have purchased or music that are licensed and/or proctected, you would need to use the MTP mode. To transfer these files, you would need to use Windows Media Player 10 or some other Music Softwares such as Rhapsody and Napster.
