I have a PC, not a mac. Can I download songs from it onto my Ipod?

I checked and u can downlaod itunes here. install the cd that comes bundled with your ipod.if none download the latest i Tunes.connect your cable to your iPod and vice versa to your USB outlet. iTunes will detect your iPod once plugged.Have fun then! You have to use iTunes. It is a free service. It is free to download iTunes and the disk should of come with your iPod but you can get it fromthe website. Once on iTunes you can put songs onto the library and then transfer them to your iPod from there.
