disable auto sync I think you can keep the two separate by naming the two iPods a different name each. When you plug in your ipod a little icon should pop up that looks like an ipod on the side of itunes that lists you playlist click on it. WMP 11 will not sync to Zune or iPods. You need Zune Marketplace to sync to Zune, and iTunes for iPods.

There are MP3 players that are compatible with WMP11. Archos, Creative Labs, Sandisk - to name a few.

I have one and it worth it, especially if you don%26#39;t have a computer around to charge it. The cord comes with the power adapter. The message "Do not disconnect" does not appear on your ipod. A battery will show instead and it will tell you when it%26#39;s charging and a plug (if I remember correctly) to let you know that it%26#39;s fully charge. I never fully charge my ipod through my computer but the battery does last a long time. :)

Connect the old iPod to your computer, when the iPod screen opens in iTunes, click Restore. This will return the iPod back to it%26#39;s factory settings, which includes removing anything that you%26#39;ve put on the iPod. Just give her the ipod with the songs on it.. then she can clear it herself which is easy and you wont mess up your library. Drag them all into a folder.

Delete them from your library.

Sync your ipod.

Disconnect it.

Drag all the songs back into the library.

Sync new ipod. get her to set up her own itunes when she connects her ipod it will ask to erase and sync her ipod to the new library.

You can connect your new ipod to your itunes and it will sync the your library to your new ipod give your friend your old nano and when she downloads her own iTunes her library will be empty and the nano should clear automatically or when the window pops up asking you to use current (empty) library. go to www.download.com and download iPod2PC and then once you have that downloaded and installed, click scan Ipod and everything on your Ipod will show on there then click on what you want and make sure you have everything because sometimes when you click it to many times it%26#39;ll show it as not clicked and won%26#39;t copy it, but choose the destination to save it to like i put mine on the desktop into a folder and then they%26#39;ll all be in that folder. To avoid a lot of probelms you should just give her the iPod with the songs on it so when she syncs it they will delete.

well wat you do is pull up itunes and limewire but you need to resize both of the applications so they both fill up the screen...like half and half...and then click the song that you want on you ipod twice but when u click it the second time hold down your mouse and drag the song on your itunes...where it says music. Ok, this is what you do.

Download the song you want from Limewire.

Go to your Library on Limewire.

Hit the %26#39;Explore%26#39; button.

A window should pop up, and you drag the song you want from that window into your iTunes library.

I would download some high-energy music that will keep her going. I do that for my girlfriend and she loves it.

I download all my music from the iTunes store and www.allofmp3.com for legal music downloads. The second site allows you to pay by PalPal for security and the mp3s are cheap. You can download by song or album. Plus they give you bonus money for loading money on your account.

Also, you might go through her CD collection and let iTunes convert the songs directly into the iPod. You should put like techno or somthing with a good beat to get her pumped up to workout. maybe her favorite artist or theres www.itunes.com itunes is best. if you get music from another site, you will need to burn cds, and then copy them back into your music library or the music files wont work on the shuffle. Item (new earphones) are defective. To my knowledge, your best bet is sticking with iPod headphones. If you need new ones, then buy new ones. They are seemingly comfortable, in my opinion, I don%26#39;t know why you would want to switch. I%26#39;m guessing for style, but... Return them. There is nothing you can do.

This is why you should always test earphones before buying !

(You can mess around with the Equalizer on your iPod, if you want. Go to Settings%26gt;EQ. It won%26#39;t make much difference at all though.)

Download the music, so now the music is on your computer. Go into the music application, jukebox or Microsoft media 11. Make sure the downloaded music file is located there or look in My Music. In the audio application there is a selection under "file" or tools, or Downloads. File will have a selection that says Create a CD. Just search tool menus until you find the selection create a CD or Burn to a CD. Make sure the CD is in the appropriate CD Drive, and click on the selection. You will get instructions from there Burn to CD.
