I would use iTunes for your computers music library. You can download songs from www.limewire.com that are free but if what you really want is to transfer music itunes is very simple and free for the program itself. Your computer will recognize the player and then you just drag and drop the songs into the player. when you want to add a cd to your collection you just import it in via itunes and you can add that music as well. Good luck! i have the same problem, i get so frustrated.i tried itunes and window media player, and none of them work
