I have a sansa e200 can i use a usb that fits into a cord with it?

the USB Cord i have is buy Belkin and it fits into my sansa but won%26#39;t reconize it on my computer ita nothing wrong with my driver or any thing i think the USB cord i have is for ipods

Although Sansa works as USB device, the end that plugs into Sansa is different that say a Zune or an Ipod. You can also look into the system app in control panel to see if it tried to detect you device earlier but was unwilling to enable it. You can also try another USB port on you machine as well if you have not already done so.
