I have an Apple I-pod Nano and..?

Well it won%26#39;t even turn ON anymore.When I plug it in to charge it,it dos%26#39;nt even show the "Don%26#39;t Unplug" sign.I am so mad.Its not on hold.I think my sister may have dropped it off the computer desk,but I have dropped it numerous times before and it was perfectly fine! Help!? and do you think If I took it back they could fix it or at least give me a new one if its under waranty?

I%26#39;ve been in the same situation before, my nano does the same thing :)

Just toggle the Hold button on the top a couple of times. Then hold down the Menu and center (circular) button until you see the apple icon show up. Be patient. This just restarts your ipod. You don%26#39;t loose any of your songs... it only reboots you ipod.

Turn it off after every use. usally when that happens the battery has died completely. if that is so contact apple and get further instructions. but if not try restarting it. i myself have had this problem and i restarted it and it worked again. if u have the manual u got it with, it will tell u how to restart it. hope this helps ^^ it may be "frozen" just try restarting it , Check that your hold switch is off by sliding the switch away from the headphone jack.. Press and hold the buttons Menu" and "Play/Pause"simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds to restart the iPod

or if its 4 g or higher ipod its "menu" and "select" try holding the center button and also the menu button together for about 10 seconds. if that doesn%26#39;t work, then try leaving it plugged in all night.

since the songs are downloaded in limewire, follow the steps to put them in your itunes libary.

1.) right click on the song

2.) then click "explore"

3.) a window will pop up with ur song highlighted

4.) type in the song or the artist

But you can add songs (files or folders) into Itunes easy

Look under the FILE heading or hold CTRL and O at the same time then add the song (or the whole Limewire folder)

It will add the songs to Itunes and you can upload them to the Ipod you dont have to use itunes

just download song in mp4 format or that are compatible for ipods if you have limewire search for ipod or mp4

make sure you have enable disk use checked with your ipod. open up your computer, find the drive where your ipod is plugged in. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE "SHOW HIDDEN FOLDERS" ON YOUR COMPUTER. you can do this by opening any folder, going to tools%26gt;folder options%26gt;view%26gt;and make sure show hidden files and folders is checked. Once that is done, go back to your ipod folder. i haven%26#39;t done this in a while, but look through it and there should be a file named "locked". rename that file to unlocked, and it should be done. hope this works. i did it on my ipod and it worked. good luck you go into itunes

When you plug your pod in you should hear a ping and itunes will open automaticaly. If you hear no ping the usb cable may be bad. If you hear the ping and itunes doesnt open you may need to uninstall and reinstal itunes. Try plugging your pod into another computer and see if it works there. If your ipod does work, the usb drivers may be messed up on your computer. This means you will need help from a computer guru. There is a help section on itunes where you select your ipod and get some help. Be sure to try to sync your iPod. If it doesn%26#39;t work send it back to the store.
