I recently had to restore my computer so I lost all my songs I purchased from iTunes...?

How can I get the songs I purchased back into my library since I already purchased them through iTunes. Would I have to connect my ipod?

Tricky, that%26#39;s why they remind you to back up your purchased music to DVD, CD, or external HD. Yes, you can liberate your iPod songs, but you need to go to the itunes support page for the version you are using, or the apple forums, for complete directions. OH, guess what...I did the same thing! All you have to do is log into your account on itunes.com and you will have to go to your library to access your songs.
