I need to burn a CD but the file is a mp3 file and it wont work on my CD player... how do I get it t

Answer:

if the music file is mp3 format on your computer already, u will need to use a conversion program (should come with media software programs i think) and convert it to anything but mp3, watever you use to play music on ur computer~ if you cant or dont kno how to do so, just re-download the file, and make sure its not mp3 format from the download source, like if ur downloading it from "free music download" sites~

have fun :p make sure the format is set for a "music" cd - depends on the software you are using to burn, but it is an option - usually a dropdown menu - Hope this helps. burn it as an "audio file" with your burning software. windows media player can burn cds. nero is my favorite. you may need to buy an updated cd player--is it old? most new cd players will play mp3 files now a days. I burn cds using the windows cd wizard . It give me the option to format to play on my pc and some cd players or to play just in cd players and it converts the file then burns it.So far, they have all worked fine. Well you have 2 options find a audio Format converter, Just type that in on google, and download one, they are usually free, You would have to change the format because chances are your CD player doesn%26#39;t play MP3s, so no matter what it won%26#39;t work unless you get a CD player that Plays MP3s or change the Format, The best Audio Format Converter i have found is called SWITCH, heres a link

the "Trial%26#39; is free so just clik the link below and follow the directions,
