If you have Windows Media Player, do you still need to have Real Player?

Answer:

No but certain videos only work in RealPlayer no you dont need it but some video files are better on real player and some are better on windows media player...it depends on your preference yes, you do. no no No, you really don%26#39;t need it but if their is something that can only run on Real Player then your in trouble real player can play everything media player can, and more. I%26#39;d keep both, but if your going to delete one it%26#39;d be windows media player. as long as you have Windows media player, you should not need Real Player unless of course a video you want to watch is only available in Real player. Otherwise, it is not required for you to get Real player. Real actually makes my computer crash whenever i download it, so i just stick with Windows Media Player and have had no problems with it. no. i hate real player i never use ever.

my fav players are winamp for music window media for videos.

if you looking to watch like anime you can google mVk codecs to play video on wimamp. its great with realplayer i feel like it takes t much space and time to load. I WOULD rather HAVE REAL PLAYER as it will play more files and just about any format more so than windows player.

but even better than both is

winamp.

but there are many even better players than all of those. heck even itunes is better.

the new window player is decent though.
