I need help on puting music onto my mp3 player and free mp3 downloading sites please and thanx.?

Answer:

Without knowing what type of MP3 player you have, it is difficult to advise you on getting music onto it. There should have been a manual or software which came with your player that should tell how to do it. Failing that, check out the web site of the manufacturer if you can find one to see if they have information.

An alternative might be for you to check out the Winamp audio player, which can be used to manage your music on various MP3 players. Check the first link below.

As for free MP3 sites, you should be able to find all manner of MP3 songs at the following sites, ranging from old to current:

Music sites such as iTunes shop or PureTracks in Canada quite often have a free track or two per week. I%26#39;m sure there are others.

There are many music podcasts (such as, for example, CBC Radio 3 which features new Canadian music). Check out sites which categorize podcasts (such as iTunes or Podcast.net) for lots of free downloads.

Amazon.com used to have free MP3 downloads, but I can%26#39;t find the option any longer.

The Cylinder Preservation %26 Digitization Project has free music from the early 1900%26#39;s if your tastes go that way.

Take a look at the sound archives at Archive.org. As with the Cylinder Preservation %26 Digitization Project, music here will probably be older.

There are lots of independent bands and music artists who provide their music freely on the internet. Check out sites like Myspace.com under their "Music" section - lots of artists provide music there. Sometimes established bands will give new songs test runs on sites like this.
