I just got my new computer and i have an ipod full of music when i plug it what can i do to keep all

without it going any where

Answer:

when you plug it in youll get options of what to do, choose open folder and view files, then copy and paste the songs to your computers music folder using:

ctrl + a (to select all)

ctrl plus clicking each individual song

after click the first song, hold down SHIFT and click the last song. if that doesnt work, add some more details to the question and ill try to help you out again. You would have to buy a third-party program to rip the music off your iPod and onto your computer. I great program that I use is Music Rescue, which costs about $20. you can get software at Best Buy that will allow for the music on your iPod to be transferred to your new computer so that you can repopulate the new iTunes. Its not expensive $25 well u still might have ur old computer. so put the itunes program on a disk Best way is to use iPodRip found here
