Ok, so I found a National Acoustic guitar up in a corner of one of the rooms here. It%26#39;s a regular dreadnought body, flat head with no arch. On the back of the neck it has the number 1248 on a sticker and another sticker states Made in Korea. I%26#39;m wondering if anyone knows what model guitar this is or really anything about it. Also it needs new strings, but I can see that the bridge pins are broken off at the bottom. There are no round pin heads still on the guitar but 5 of the 6 strings are still being held in so the rest of the pin must be stuck in there. Anyone have any good methods for getting them out? I%26#39;m trying to get this guitar back in a playable state to mess around with it and am just looking for some information on this guitar.
Answer:
Best advice would be to take it to your local music store and get them to confirm what type guitar it is and they should be able to give you advice on how to fix it. The pin problem is not going to be easy - I have a mate who%26#39;s been there on an acoustic. Not good.
