I got a new computer and want to move my plylists, renamed songs, etc. to the new one. My tunes (mp3 files) are on an external drive, but iTunes are on the computer itself. I%26#39;d like to know how to move the files and which ones.
I have a bunch of songs that I have corrected names and singers on and that does not show on the mp3 files, only in the iTunes.

Use the Library Backup function, and the Save Rights function to back up everything. Then authorize your new computer to be on your iTunes account, and point iTunes on your new computer to the external drive. If everything looks good, then you are okay. If there are problems, then restore information from your saved settings.
