I am thinking of purchasing an ipod or a zune which one can i transfer my music that i already have to either one?or do i have to buy the music from it tunes to download it?
Answer:
WMP 11 will not sync to Zune or iPods. You need Zune Marketplace to sync to Zune, and iTunes for iPods.
There are MP3 players that are compatible with WMP11. Archos, Creative Labs, Sandisk - to name a few.
I learned this the hard way when I had an Urge.com account and had a sizable library. I got an iPod, but found it would not take them even if I had iTunes. I ended up getting the Zune which offers Zune Pass which is just like Urge (minus videos (for now)) http://www.zune.net/en-us/meetzune/zunep...
Hope that helps. Zune only works with wmp.. ipod only itunes... go with the zune get a different MP3 player and load anything screw Apple and screw Microsoft.
Maxfield comes to mind or trekstore.
Don%26#39;t be stupid with trendy gadgets As far as I%26#39;m aware to just transfer music the Zune is the better choice of the two as it has been designed around media player. There are other players out there other than those two though, have you looked at any of Creative%26#39;s machines? Creative Zen has been getting a lot of good reviews and is what I%26#39;ll be buying when I eventually replace my Sony NW. Amazon is the best place to look, see what people who own them think of the machines (although ipuke, erm pod owners all say they%26#39;re amazing). no, neither of those devices make you buy their music, though im sure apple would love to be able to. but with both, you are able to directly sync any compatible audio (and video/pic) files right to the player, either using drag and drop, or the software (like iTunes) that comes with the device.
