I have no back light on Zen V. What does display say on power up or how to get to song list to play?

I%26#39;ve been playing music. I formatted the Zen and put in new music. Now it won%26#39;t play and my daughter says to load the new playlist or songs. What steps in the menu do I take to get there to do this??

To get to play list or songs in your menu on your zen = Turn on zen* Go into music library* choose playlist or songs, artiest etc...
